NPE - In the House

I recently heard about Eric Ruth & Sean Greeley at NPE (Net Profit Explosion) from a friend of mine and had a chance to check them out. They have a sweet program called the Gold Rush program that they discuss on their website at http://net-profit-explosion.com/grush.html.

Here's the goods.

They sent me a great newsletter and an incredible audio cd after hitting their site. Their programs are solid and the i already picked up some HUGE nuggets from their audio cd.

Closing a PT Sale

Let's start with the end in mind. We need to be equipped to present and acquire a new training client. So I started in my rss reader with Chris McCombs at www.KickBackLife.com. He tells a story (and a sweet video at MarketAnnihilator.com) about Bedros Keuilian.

Bedros is a trainer that sold $89K of PT in 43 days? What? So I bounced over to Bedros' site at CloseClients.com and to my surprise, I found fellow Anytime Fitness training legend Mike Gelfgot in this video:

Professional Personal Trainer Certification Programs

So after much deliberation, here is the short list of professional certifications that I reviewed:

ACE
NESTA
NASM
CSCS
ISSA

With all things considered, I went the route of the National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association Personal Fitness Trainer affiliation. The NESTA certification course was designed by John Spencer Ellis, a fitness industry leader based in So Cal. As you may know, my wife is from So Cal and we have seen him online and through several television specials.

John Spencer Ellis clearly has leveraged his career in the fitness industry very well and we found their material to be very strong in both categories of fitness education & business fundamentals.


Likewise, we found that NESTA was growing in their influence within the fitness industry while others seem to be more static.
